Larry Joe Young, 76, died September 13, 2022. He was born October 25, 1945 in Tupelo, MS to Forrest and Marie Cayson Young.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant son, William Dale Young.  He is survived by his wife, Charlotte Young of Camden, AR; a son, Kenneth Joe Young (Tammy) of Heiskell, TN; a daughter, Christina Ann Fonville (Troy) of Van Buren, AR; five step children, Doug Nance (Misty), Veronica Bailey (Rusty), Stephanie Mitchell, Chris Stinson (Brad) and Charlsie Langley (Norm); three grandchildren, Joseph Brett Young, Kristen Ward and Ryan Castleberry; twelve step grandchildren and four great grandchildren, Baylen Young, Bowen Young, Tyson Castleberry and Taylor Castleberry and two sisters, Janie Summers (Bill) of Ballwin, MO and Tammy Flener Richards of Chouteau, OK.

Larry was an active member of Victory Church and was involved in several of the church's ministries. He was proud of his employment in the defense industry. In addition to being an avid golfer, he was a Razorback fan who enjoyed calling the Hogs and watching the New Orleans Saints.  Most of all, Larry will be remembered as a devoted husband and father.

Proctor Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. The family will receive friends at the funeral home 5:00-8:00 Friday, September 16, 2022. Services will be 10:00 Saturday at Victory Church with Jerry Ables officiating followed by interment at Memorial Park Cemetery.
