Larry O. Vaughan, 84, of Camden, AR, passed away on Thursday, February 19, 2026, at his home in Camden, AR. He was born July 22, 1941, in Camden, AR to Thomas R. and Chapel Gatling Vaughan. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, served the citizens of Ouachita County as a Deputy Sheriff, served over 20 years as a Camden Fire Department Volunteer Fireman, a devoted family man and retired from Lockheed Martin. He is preceded in death by his parents, Thomas R. and Chapel Gatling Vaughan; sisters, Jimmie Harrington, Jean Pennington, Viva McAdoo; brothers, J.T. Vaughan, Russell Vaughan, Curtis "Fat" Vaughan, Buddy Vaughan and Alfous Vaughan.

He is survived by his wife, Brenda Vaughan of Camden, AR; three sons, Dale Vaughan, Allen Vaughan both of Camden, AR, Justin Vaughan and wife, Mae of Huntsville, AL; daughter, Becky Snider and husband, Jordan of San Antonio, TX; brother, Calvin Vaughan and wife, Brenda of Hot Springs, AR; sister, Margaret "Monkey" Thomas of Camden, AR; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 5:30-7:00 PM Saturday, February 21, 2026, at Proctor Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Sunday, February 22, 2026, at Proctor Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. Bro. Don Phillips will officiate the service.
