Larry Junior Russell was born on June 29th, 1945 in Manila, Mississippi and passed away on September 25th, 2025 after a lengthy illness. He was preceded in death by his wife Teresa Cosby Russell, his mother Nola Reed Taylor and his father, Doyle Laren Russell.

Larry was a veteran of the U.S. Navy Reserve and served on the USS Topeka at Long Beach, CA. His decorations include the Viet Nam Service Medal and the National Defense Service Medal. He was employed by International Paper, General Dynamics Camden and Atlanta, GA, and Ensco in El Dorado. He was a member of Victory Church in Camden, and spent as much time as possible hunting and fishing here in Arkansas.

Larry is survived by his three children, Lauren Russell (Andrea Milsap), Larry Caine Russell, and Hannah Russell Evans (Nick). He was papaw to Marshall Russell, Shelby Russell, Ian Russell-Milsap, Owen Russell-Milsap, Loxley Russell-Milsap, Ace Evans and Palmer Evans. He leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, friends and other family who will miss him dearly.

Funeral service will be 10:00AM Saturday, September 27, 2025 at Proctor Funeral Home.  Visitation will be 1 hour prior to service.
