Larry Joe Christian, 75, died April 22, 2022. He was born July 2, 1946 in Camden, AR to Bonnie and Catherine Cornelia Gee Christian. In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by a daughter, Melissa Kay Christian and a brother, James David Coke. He is survived by his wife, Frances Sue Christian; a son, Larry Anthony Christian; two sisters, Bonnie Sue Horton and Donna Ruth Yarobrough; four grandchildren, Thomas Adam James, Heather Nicole James, Ryan Austin Christian and Hunter Reece Christian and two great-grandchildren, Dixie Paige and Aubrie Sky as well as many friends.

Larry was saved at the age of 15 and was an active member of the Assembly of God church. At age 35 he spent a lot of time teaching the Word of God to others, including preaching in several different churches. He was also a great prayer warrior- if anyone ever needed prayer or a word of encouragement he was there for them. Larry was helpful in starting the Rolling Hills Assembly of God in Stephens, working alongside Brother Horton. He helped in building Sunday school classrooms at the Pleasant Ridge Assembly of God. One of the things he passed on to his children was a good work ethic.

In addition to these many activities, he loved to hunt and fish. He could catch fish when no one else could!

The family will receive friends at the funeral home 1:00-2:00 Monday, April 25, 2022. Services will be 2:00 at the funeral home followed by interment at Mt. Horeb Cemetery.
