Mr. Larry Kenneth Brown Sr. was born to the late Walter C. and Mary Finks Brown on December 17, 1952 in Camden, Arkansas. He passed on from this life on September 5, 2026, peacefully in his sleep.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a son Larry K, Brown Jr, and his wife of nearly 50 years Diane. He accepted Christ as a young boy at Mt, Hebron Baptist Church in Camden, Arkansas. He was always a hard, dedicated worker, driving billet trucks as a teenager; even owning his own company for a while. He continued driving 18-wheelers for Weatherly Truck Lines, until his health failed after nearly 40 years.
He also enjoyed doing carpentry work and was capable of minor plumbing work. He could build almost anything he saw.
He was joined in holy matrimony with Diane Wilkins on October 12, 1973. From this union, four children were born.
His precious memory will be cherished forever by his three daughters; Tokoya (Mike) Sims of Louann , Arkansas; La'Shunda "Nickie" (Keith) Hawthorne of Magnolia, Arkansas; and Larrita (Courtney) Willingham of Stephens, Arkansas, six grandchildren; Tykorian (Markeyda) Brown, Tahj Sims, Keiana Hawthorne, Keiara Hawthorne, Jordan Willingham and Kiersten Willingham; and four greatgrandchildren; Lauren, Levi, Liya, and Naomi Brown, one brother Orris (Ruby) Brown Sr, of Camden, Arkansas; three sisters in law; Ruby Nell Wilkins, Glenda (Dan) Franklin, and Donna Rogers; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held Thursday September 10th from 12-2 pm, The funeral service will be held Thursday, September 10th at 2:00PM at Proctor Funeral Home. Burial will be in Patton Cemetery.
