Obituary

Roger "Kenny" Patterson, 73, of Camden, AR passed away January 16, 2025, at UAMS after courageously fighting cancer for over 15 years. Kenny was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend whose life was marked by faith, love, and community.

A lifelong member of Fairview Road Baptist Church, Kenny's unwavering faith guided him throughout his life. He found immense joy in helping others and cherished time spent with his beloved family and friends. He was a former employee of Camden International Paper, Camden Fairview Public Schools and, most recently, Stephens Propane.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Horace and Shirley Patterson and his beloved sister, Melanie Doss.

Kenny is survived by his wonderful and devoted wife of over 42 years, Tina Patterson; his sons, Matt (Miranda) and Mark Patterson; and his treasured grandchildren, Kaiten Patterson, Hayes Patterson, and Reeve Patterson along with a host of nephews, nieces, and close friends. He found great pride in watching his grandsons play and in sharing life's precious moments with those he loved.

An integral part of the Fairview community, Kenny could often be found visiting with friends at Jay's Country Store, where his laughter and larger-than-life personality touched everyone who knew him.

Kenny leaves behind a legacy of faith, love, and unwavering devotion to his family. His presence will be deeply missed, but his memory will forever live in the hearts of those who knew him.

Visitation will be 4:00-6:00 Saturday, January 18, 2025, at Proctor Funeral Home. A celebration of Kenny's life will be held at Fairview Road Baptist Church on Sunday, January 19th at 2:00 p.m. with burial to follow at Bethesda Cemetery.
