Kelsey Adams, 56, was born May 23, 1968, to Charles R. Gipson and Bobbie Sue Adams in Camden, Arkansas.
Kelsey transitioned on February 25, 2025, at his home in Little Rock, Arkansas. He attended the Camden Public School system fallen short of graduating with the class of `86. He received his General Education Diploma in 1987. He later relocated to Little Rock, Arkansas where he lived and worked at various occupations and studied at UALR where he obtained a Certificate of Phlebotomy and held a position at Baptist Hospital. He obtained work at various entities in the Little Rock area. He worked at McLarty car dealership as an Automotive Repair Specialist Tech for many years which he enjoyed. He later worked for a Bed and Breakfast part time up to his passing.
Kelsey was preceded in death by his father and stepfather. He leaves to mourn his passing, his loving mother Bobbie Woody; brothers Shannon Adams, Camden, AR, Raymond Charles (Rachel) Green of Saginaw, MI, Darl (Jolanda) Strickland, Sr., Camden, AR; sisters Janet L. Stevens, Little Rock, AR, Tina Green, Dallas, TX, Cherie Hounshell (Lee), Robin Leach (Larry), Linda Mason (Tom) all of MI; aunts Linda Carter and Annie Jones (Leo), Little Rock, AR, Flora, Vickie, Marie, Camden, AR; uncles Ira and Fred, Camden, AR; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and his beloved pet his dog, Ace as well as many friends that loved him dearly.
He leaves three special friends, Joyce G. Gray of Little Rock, AR who was a beloveth friend and adopted family of Little Rock, AR and Atlanta, GA; landlords, Oshie Pledger and Carolyn Brooks of Little Rock, AR and they write: "As we say goodbye to Kelsey, we will remember his caring spirit and patience. We will also remember how he always wanted everything to be neat and nice. We will deeply miss Kelsey but never forget him. Kelsey's spirit will remain in our hearts forever. May your soul rest in peace Kelsey, your landlords Oshie Pledger and Carolyn Brooks."
We want to thank everyone for their prayers and good wishes. Our family really appreciates it.
Memorial service will be Saturday, March 8, 2025, 1:00PM at Proctor Funeral Home.
