Karen Bowman, 77, passed away on July 3, 2024. She was born on September 18, 1946 in Camden, AR to Eugene B. and Esther Rushton Cawthon. Karen was known for her bubbly personality and the way she greeted everyone with a smile. She enjoyed shopping, decorating, growing flowers, but most of all she loved her animals and Elvis Presley.  One of her favorite pass times was watching Elvis movies with her kids.  Her greatest joy was spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, D.L. Bowman, Jr. She is survived by her two daughters, Michelle Langley and her husband, Andy of El Dorado, AR and Shannon Landers and her husband, Shane of Springfield, MO; her son Heath Bowman and his fiancé, Krystal Love of Camden, AR; eight grandchildren, Andrea Carter and her husband, Giles, Drew Langley, Chance May and his wife, Jocelyn, Chase May, Lizzi Bowman, Trip Bowman, Peyton Love, and Colin Love; great-grandchildren, Delaney Carter, Jackson May, Jillian May, and Juliet May; and a host of family and friends.

A graveside service will take place on Sunday, July 7, 2024 at 1:30PM at Memorial Park Cemetery. Proctor Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
