J.V. Tidwell, 80, passed away on Saturday, March 22, 2025. He was born on January 14, 1945, in Camden, AR. He was the son of the late Jewell and Viola Barnett Tidwell. He was the previous owner operator of Tidwell Foundations and TNT Fireworks. He was a member of Pleasant Ridge Assembly of God Church and had a strong personal relationship with his Lord. He is preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, Nolan, Joe, Jewell (Tank), and Elmer (Big Man) Tidwell.

He is survived by his wife of fifty-eight years, Mary Lee McCoy Tidwell; son, Joseph Paul Tidwell; daughter, Margaret (Maggie) Tidwell; five grandchildren and eight great- grandchildren; two sisters, Omie Blair and Addie (Tippy) Purifoy and his sweet dog Molly.

No services will be held. Interment will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery on Fairview Road.
