Judith 'Judy' Reece Allen, a beloved native of Lake Charles, Louisiana, whom passed away unexpectedly, on September 26, 2024. She was the youngest daughter of John Paul Reece, a dedicated assisted agent of the KCS railroad, and Mary Agnes Reece, a caring registered nurse. Judy graduated from Barbe High School and went on to earn her Bachelor's degree from Louisiana Tech University in Ruston, Louisiana.

Judy was a devoted wife to Thomas Ellis Allen II and a cherished mother to her two daughters, Rebecca Kay Allen Keating and her spouse Tyler, and Sarah Marie Allen Blair and her husband Dakota. She took immense pride in her role as 'NaeNae' to her three granddaughters: Emilia Reece Allen Blair, Joey Ellis Blair, and Magnolia James "Maggie" Blair.

An animal lover at heart, Judy had a special affection for her geese, chickens, and her beloved dachshunds, whose antics always brought a smile to her face.

She was preceded in death by her father, and her father-in-law, Ellis Thurman Allen. Judy is survived by her loving husband, daughters, and granddaughters, as well as her mother, two brothers, Gregory Reece and his wife Kelly, and Kevin Reece, and two sisters, Francis Tara Reece DeLon and Linda Anne Reece Shuff. She is also survived by her mother-in-law, Myrtis Kay Allen, sister-in-law Susan Allen Carter, and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family who treasured her dearly.

A deeply spiritual person, Judy found strength and solace in her Christian faith. She embraced life with a joyful heart, believing in the power of love. Her unwavering belief in the goodness of people and her commitment to her spiritual values guided her through every chapter of her life.
Judy had an extraordinary ability to see beauty in everyday moments and will be remembered for her sensitivity and unwavering love for her family. Her legacy of kindness, grace, and compassion will continue to inspire all who knew her.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00AM Friday, October 04, 2024 at Proctor Funeral Home in Camden, AR in her honor, where family and friends are invited to celebrate her remarkable life. Burial will follow at 2:30PM in Delhi Masonic Cemetery in Delhi, LA.  Visitation will be held Thursday, October 03, 2024 from 5:00PM to 8:00PM at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to 'Smile Train' https://www.smiletrain.org/ or 'Wounded Warriors Foundation' https://www.woundedwarriorproject.org/ in her memory.
