Judith Ann "Judi" Norrell Jackson, of Camden, Arkansas, was born on November 14, 1946, in Crossett, Arkansas, to Sue Nelson Jenkins and Jessie Douglas Norrell. She passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family, on July 11, 2026.

Judi dedicated much of her professional life to bookkeeping for numerous businesses before following her true passion for helping others. She later served for many years as the Director of CASA, where she worked tirelessly advocating for children within the court system. She also served with United Fund and the Boys Club, touching countless lives through her compassion, dedication, and servant's heart.

Judi had a deep love for the outdoors and especially enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, and spending weekends at the lake or river with family and friends. She cherished time with those she loved most and shared a close bond with her siblings, children, grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

She also enjoyed shopping for clothes and shoes, collecting hummingbirds, and had a lifelong passion for photography, art, reading, and poetry. She found joy in life's simple moments and never missed an opportunity to make memories with those she loved.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Sue Nelson Jenkins and Jessie Douglas Norrell; her sisters, Debra Lea Stuart Benson and Connie Norrell Cope; and her infant grandson, Jessie Watson.

Judi is survived by her beloved husband of 35 years, James Jackson; her son, David Watson and wife, Mickie, of Camden; her daughter, Vicki Vaughan and husband, Gary, of Camden; and the granddaughter she lovingly helped raise, Nicole Watson Moseley and husband, Dakata, of Camden. She is also survived by three stepdaughters: Deonne Nelson and husband, Mike, of Bushland, Texas; Carmon Courson and husband, Mark, of Crossett, Arkansas; and Dana Musgrove and husband, Todd, of Crossett, Arkansas. Additional survivors include her sister, Carolyn Norrell Smith of Greenbrier, Arkansas; her brother, Jerry "Buddy" Norrell of Camden, Arkansas; 11 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the staff of Arbor Hospice, especially Elana and Marilyn, for their compassionate care and unwavering support. They would also like to express a special thank you to the staff of Ouachita Nursing & Rehab Center for the exceptional love and care they provided during Judi's respite stays,

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made online to The Parkinson's Foundation or the Arkansas Children's Hospital in Little Rock, Arkansas.

Visitation: Tuesday, July 14, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Proctor Funeral Home.

Funeral Service: Wednesday, July 15, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Proctor Funeral Home. Burial will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Hickory Grove Cemetery in Crossett, Arkansas.

Judi's legacy of love, kindness, and unwavering devotion to her family and community will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
