Juanice Jenkins Barker, 97, of Camden, AR went to be with her heavenly father December 13, 2023. She was born January 3, 1926 to Opal (Lusby) and Noel Jenkins of the community of Troy, Arkansas. She graduated from Fairview High School in 1943 and married Delton Barker July 30, 1943. She worked for the Grapette Bottling Company and later retired from International Paper Company after 25 years. She was a member of Westside Methodist Church.

She is preceded in death by her husband, parents, and brother, James (Jim) Jenkins.

She is survived by two daughters, Roxanne (Lonnie) Lamkin of Stephens, and Lisa (Gary) Weaver of Camden; sister, Brenda Lake of Childersburg, AL; four grandchildren, Chad Lamkin, Matt (Sarah) Weaver, Courtney (Patrick) Haynie, and Kimberly (Slade) Nicholson; five great grandchildren, Talyn Finney, Natalie Haynie, Nora Haynie, Ainslee Weaver, and Beau Weaver and an expected great grandchild due in March.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00AM Friday, December 15, 2023 at Memorial Park Cemetery with Pastor Kathryn Burchfield officiating. Proctor Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers family requests memorials be made to Westside Methodist Church, 2211 Maul Rd., Camden, AR.
