Joyce A. Magby, 78, of Camden, AR, passed away Saturday, November 9, 2024. She was born in Camden, AR on August 12, 1946. She was the daughter of the late Albert and Flora Roberts Slaughter. She was a retired Rural Mail Carrier, Baptist, attended Stephens and Fairview Schools, gardening, needlework, playing the piano and loved her family and sharing her heritage. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, James Magby; infant son, Larry Lee Williams, Jr. ; son, Roy Magby; sister, Sarah Clay; brother, Phillip Wade Slaughter.

She is survived by her two daughters, Tammy Phillips and Catherine Wolfe and husband, Dale both of Camden, AR; two sons, James Magby and wife, Ginger of Camden, AR and Sterling Magby and wife, Lynn of Freeport, FL; sister, Wanda Riley of Camden, AR; grandchildren, Ory Magby, Shawn Magby, Josh Magby, Tiffanie Aregood, Michael Magby, Britney Knight, Jacob Wolfe, Haylie Magby, Matthew Magby, Chandler Clark, Ashley Masenheimer, Athena Morrison;  host of great-grandchildren; host of family, friends and nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 10:00-11:00AM Saturday, November 16, 2024, at Proctor Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 11:00AM at Proctor Funeral Home Chapel. Burial at Union Cemetery, Camden, AR. Proctor Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
