John Pat Foster, 58, passed away on March 28, 2023. He was born on July 17, 1964 in Camden, AR to Bob and Wanda Foster. Pat was proud to serve as the Fire Chief of the East Camden Fire Department for 25 years. He was also a member of Calvary Baptist Church. He absolutely loved anything Arkansas Razorbacks. In the fall, you could hear Pat giving the play-by-play at the Bill Manning Field as the voice of the Harmony Grove Hornets for over 18 years. He loved and took great joy in serving his community, coaching the youth, improving our local communities, as well as celebrating and educating citizens on Camden's rich history.

He was preceded in death by his father Robert "Bob" Foster; granddaughter, Norah Foster. He is survived by his wife, LaDonna Foster of Camden, AR; two sons, Josh Phillips and his wife, Skye of Midlothian, TX and Drew Foster and his wife, Tia of Lowell, AR; grandsons, Laken Phillips and Luke Foster; granddaughter, Layla Phillips; mother, Wanda Shambley; brothers; Donnie Foster and wife, Jody and Chris Foster and wife, Christy; sister-in-law, Lori Foster; brother-in-law, Dewey Purifoy and wife, Pam; and many nieces and nephews; and a host of family and friends.

A service will be held at Calvary Baptist Church on Friday, March 31, 2023 at 11:00AM with Don Phillips and Robert McAdoo officiating followed by interment at Memorial Park Cemetery.  A visitation will be held on Thursday, March 30, 2023 from 6:00-8:00PM at Proctor Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers please make donations to East Camden Fire Department Auxiliary at 536 Hwy 274, East Camden, AR 71701. Proctor Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
