John Thomas Curb, 93, passed away November 7, 2024 at VA Hospital in Little Rock. He was born September 30, 1931 the son of Henry Thomas and Clara Curb.
John served as in the US Army for 20+ years as a drill sergeant. He served in the Vietnam and Korean War. He was employed at General Dynamics and Goodyear before permanent retirement. John also served as deacon at New Haven Missionary Baptist for many years.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mattie Mae Curb; son, John Thomas Curb, Jr.; and brothers, Calvin Hemitt and George Curb.

He is survived by his son, Tavoris Curb; granddaughter, Jasmine Curb; granddaughter, Taniya Flowers; granddaughter, Tavaria Curb; Goddaughter, Mechelle Purifoy; Goddaughter, Clarissa Purifoy and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 5:00-7:00 PM Friday, November 15, 2024 at Proctor Funeral Home.  Funeral Services will be 11:00 AM Saturday, November 16, 2024 at New Haven Baptist Church. Burial will be 11:00 AM Monday, November 18, 2024 at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock, AR.
