Joe Alden Alexander, Jr 65, of Chidester, AR, passed away on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, at Ouachita County Medical Center. He was born July 11, 1960, in Newport, AR. He was the son of the late Joe Alden, Sr and Lois Avenell Hunter Alexander. He was a graduate of Sparkman High School, former owner of Camden Family Inn, Charlie's One Stop, former Dallas County Police Officer. He loved his family and animals, known by everyone and always willing to help others, Chidester Volunteer Fireman and Sparkman Volunteer Fireman. He is preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Kathy Kee.

He is survived by his wife, Rebecca Alexander of Chidester, AR; four daughters, Whitney Alexander of Camden, AR, Lois Alexander of Camden, AR and Samantha Alexander of Chidester, AR, and Heather Jones; one son, Joe Alden Alexander, III of Chidester, AR; one sister, Lanell Hergenroeder of Newport, AR; one brother, Bryan Looney of Rogers, AR; host of friends.

The family may have a memorial service at a later date.
