James Houston Dixon, age 83 of Camden, AR died Thursday, February 27, 2025. He was preceded in death by Carol Jean Bradshaw Dixon, his wife of 60 years, his son, Steven Powell Dixon, and his parents.

Jimmy is survived by his sons, Gary Dixon (Brandy) and Houston Dixon (Hannah); his grandchildren; Britni (Matthew), Stephen (Ashley), Ember, Lendon, Relda, and Jameson; as well as his cousin, John Arnold.

He loved the outdoors and after retirement spent many afternoons riding down to the deer camp or sitting out on the porch talking to his buddies.

Jimmy spent 4 decades working for Southwestern Bell Telephone Company, but when he retired he drove a gravel truck, which he enjoyed greatly.

A graveside service will be held at 2 PM Sunday, March 2, 2025, at Rocky Mound Cemetery in Rosston, AR.
