Jessie Mae Richardson, 87, departed this life on Monday, August 14, 2023.  She was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, and dear friend.

She was born on February 28, 1936, to Eddie Gulley and Jesse Lewis, both of whom preceded her in death.

She was united in Holy Matrimony to Earnest L Richardson up until his death in 2014.  To this union, three children were born.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Hershell Bryant and Lloyd Bryant, one sister, Lois Rounds, great-grandson, Travis Jones, and her daughter, Dor'Sann Strickland.

Jessie served as a nurse for over forty years, and she enjoyed sewing, crafts, and most of all fishing!

She leaves to cherish her memories, her son Clayton (Kristal) Richardson; daughter, Keturah Rumph; four grandchildren: Landon Jones, Laneka Heard, Clayton Richardson II, and Khylah Richardson; six great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
