Jerry
Morrison
Jul 26, 1943 — May 29, 2025
Louann
Jerry Eugene Morrison, of Louann, Arkansas, died on May 29, 2025. Jerry was born to Lee and Lois Dishroon Morrison, on his beloved mountain top, in Palmer, Tennessee on July 26, 1943.
Jerry met his wife, Terry, in Chattanooga, Tennessee. They both felt like they had found their lifelong mate and decided to move to Arkansas to be close to Terry's family. Jerry opened Morrison's Body Shop in 1987. This shop was a dream-come-true for him. He loved working on vehicles, and he was quite good at it. He made many friends at the shop and some days the office looked like a "social center". He loved it.
Jerry has been a "giver" all of his life and his mission in life was to help anyone in need and he did just that. He always said that everything happened for a reason and he said it to me, Terry, after the fall that broke his hip. Little did he realize the fall would lead him to his most important mission in life: to see Jesus, his Savior, when his earthly walk was done.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Johnny and Bill Morrison and sisters Bonnie Turner and Brenda Francis.
Jerry is survived by Terry, his wife of 46 years, daughters Angela Petrosuis (Ben) and Kelly Morrison, and granddaughter Nadia. He is also survived by sisters Joann Morrison, Naoma Layne (Dewitt), and brother Charles Morrison (Cindy) and many beloved nieces and nephews.
A graveside service is planned for 1 pm on Saturday, June 7, 2025 at Sulphur Springs Community Church, 3086 Ouachita Rd 2 (Mt Holly Rd) with visitation immediately afterwards in the fellowship hall.
