Jerry Edward Doherty, 76, of Camden passed away Friday, February 16, 2024 at his home in Camden. He was born August 28, 1947 in California, the son of James Doherty  and Kathleen Stringfellow.  Jerry was an active member of Victory Church in Camden, he loved to fish,  if he wasn't at church, he was fishing. He loved the Lord,  and read his Bible on a daily basis. Jerry was a devoted father and grandfather.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death his brothers, Bobby Doherty, and William Doherty; his sisters, Ava Nell Lupo, Margaret French, Ella Mae Newman, and Glenda Burton.

Survivors include his daughters, Amanda McMasters, and husband, Phillip McMasters of Jacksonville, AR, Melody Ford and husband, Michael Ford of Magnolia, AR, and Jessica Doherty of Camden, AR; Nine grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild .

Memorial services for Jerry will be 4:00PM Sunday, February 18, 2024 at Victory Church in Camden. Proctor Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
