Jeff Russell Delezen died on October 22, 2026, at the age of 85. He was born on January 15, 1941, in Camden, Arkansas, and was a member of the Camden High School Class of 1958.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jeff and Eugenia Delezen. He is survived by his wife, Mary Virginia Beasley Delezen; his brother, Jerry Delezen, and wife, Karen, of Dallas, Texas; his daughter, Laurie Delezen Ormon, and husband, Stephen, of Bentonville; and his granddaughters, Emily and Sarah Kate Ormon, of Bentonville.

Russell attended Ouachita Baptist College in Arkadelphia, Arkansas, for one year before graduating from the University of Arkansas with a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering. He then accepted a position as an engineering trainee with International Paper Company at the Camden Mill. Throughout his career, he held a number of positions in the technical and environmental areas, including Superintendent of Environmental Services. He retired in 2001 following the closing of the Camden Mill. He was a Registered Environmental Manager.

Russell enjoyed spending time with family and friends, photography, traveling, and fishing.

Russell was actively involved in his church and community. He was a longtime member and deacon of First Baptist Church in Camden. He was also a member of the Jaycees and a longtime member and treasurer of the Kiwanis Club of Camden. Russell served for 20 years as a member of the Water and Sewer Commission.

The family will receive friends from 1-2 M Sunday at Proctor Funeral Home.   A funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM in the chapel. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
