Jeanette Jackson, 82, of Camden, AR, passed away Friday, September 22, 2023, at Ouachita Nursing and Rehab. She was born on February 4, 1941 in Bodcaw, AR to Orville and Mureen McNatt Phillips. She was a member of Timothy Methodist Church and was involved with the Women's Ministry. She enjoyed farming it gave her great joy. She loved her family very much, but her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren. She always used to tell her grandchildren "If you can put salt on a squirrel's tail you could catch them" and then watch them chasing squirrels in her yard. She loved her grandchildren with all of her heart.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Travis Jackson; two sisters, Doris (Cookie) King and Marie Harris; a brother, Lee, two sons, Kenny Barkhimer and Marco Barkhimer; and a grandson, Joshua Barkhimer.

She is survived by her sister, Jean Phillips-Stinnet of Magnolia, AR; her son, Donnie Glen Barkhimer and wife, Marie of Camden, AR; daughter-in-law, Renee Plunk and husband, James of Camden, AR; thirteen grandchildren, Donnie Barkhimer, Jr. and wife Abby, Richard Barkhimer and wife, Haley, Jenni Elmore, Jesse Barkhimer, J.C. Barkhimer, Kenny Jr. Barkhimer, Anthony, Lequita, Robert Plunk, Jeremy Plunk, Khai, Linda, and Dolly; three stepsons, David Jackson and wife, Lynn of Cartersville, GA, Tony Jackson and wife, Amy of Vicksburg, MS, and Jeff Jackson and wife, Lyn of Searcy, AR; numerous nieces and nephews; and numerous great-grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.

A memorial service will be held on Friday September 29, 2023 at Timothy Methodist Church at 10:00AM. In lie of flowers please give donations in her name to Timothy Methodist Park.
