Jasper Rex-Kirby Gaston Precious baby Jasper Rex-Kirby Gaston entered this world already deeply loved and left it far too soon. Though his time here was brief, the love surrounding Jasper is immeasurable, and his memory will forever hold a special place in the hearts of all who loved him. Jasper was the beloved son of Jonie New and Jackson Gaston. He was loved, prayed for, and cherished long before his arrival. His family dreamed of the moments they would share with him, the milestones they would watch him reach, and the beautiful life that lay ahead of him. Although those dreams were heartbreakingly cut short, nothing can ever take away the love Jasper brought into this world.

Jasper leaves to cherish his precious memory his parents, Jonie New and Jackson Gaston; his maternal grandparents, Amanda and Zack Kirby; his paternal grandparents, Mike Gaston and Jennifer Gaston; his maternal great-grandparents, James and Sherry Kilpatrick; his paternal great-grandparents, Linda Gaston and Charles Thomas Gaston; his loving aunts, Kinize (Calem), Hallie, Karlie, and Viven. Uncle Ben Gaston. Jasper was also deeply loved by several other aunts, uncles, and extended family members who will forever cherish his memory. 

Jasper is preceded by his great-grandparents Linda and Norman New. 

Although Jasper’s life was far too short, his impact will last forever. He will always be a son, a grandson, a great-grandson, a nephew, and a deeply loved member of his family. His name will be spoken, his memory will be cherished, and he will never be forgotten. While our hearts ache here on earth, we find comfort in knowing that sweet Jasper is safe in the arms of Jesus, surrounded by perfect peace and a love beyond measure. Jasper’s life may have been measured in moments, but the love he leaves behind will last a lifetime.

A memorial service will be held at Proctor Funeral Home on August 1, 2026 at 12:00PM.
