James Toland, age 75, of Camden, AR, passed away on November 13th, 2025. Born on November 11, 1950, in Camden, AR, James lived a life defined by hard work and a deep appreciation for the outdoors.

James was an avid outdoorsman who found his greatest pursuits in the woods and on the waters of South Arkansas. He loved hunting and fishing, and he cherished every opportunity to spend time in the forests and along the rivers he knew so well. These places were his refuge and where he felt most at home.

James pursued a career in the military, serving 8 years in the Army. He then settled in Camden where he lived the remainder of his years.

James is survived by his wife Ann Toland; his children Michael (Donna) of Beaverton, OR, Timothy (Bailey) Toland of Kansas City, MO, Jennifer Bryant (Nick) of Camden, AR, his brother, Louis Toland (Glinda) of Texarkana, TX, and 11 grandchildren, as well as many friends and extended family who will forever remember him. He was preceded in death by his parents; Lucille and Grady Toland, his sister, Margaret Toland, and his brother Christopher Toland.

A service to honor James's life will be held on November 25th, 2025, 1pm at Little Missouri Cemetery in Chidester, AR. Family are invited to attend and share memories of his remarkable life.

James will be dearly missed by all who knew him, and his legacy will live on in his children and grandchildren.
