James Stephens Elliott, Jr. (Stephen), 72, of Camden, AR, passed away Sunday, April 23, 2023, at his home. He was born in Camden, AR on September 14, 1950, to James Stephens Elliott and Betty Mae McManus Elliott. Stephen enjoyed cooking and was considered a great cook. He enjoyed playing golf, but his passion was traveling and reading books.

Stephen is preceded in death by his parents; and his stepfather, Paul Leamons. He is survived by his wife, Kim Elliott of Camden, AR; daughter, Donnie Betts and husband, Chris of Camden, AR; sister, Kathy Daniel and husband, Ricky of Camden, AR; two grandchildren, Lexi Betts and Michael Betts; numerous family members including aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews, and cousins; and many friends.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Dr. Braden, OCMC Hospice, Dr. Erin Goss, and Dr. Paul (Corky) Davis.

A memorial service will be held on April 25, 2023 at 11:00AM at Fairview United Methodist Church. A visitation will be held from 10:00AM – 11:00AM before the service. In lieu of flowers please make donations to Fairview United Methodist Church. Proctor Funeral Home is in charge of all the arrangements.
