James Larry Perry, 73, of Camden, AR; died July 17, 2022 at his home. He was born September 24, 1948 in El Dorado, AR. He was the son of James A. Perry and Laura Jean Dews Perry Smith. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church, retired after 40 years with Borden Milk Company, loved coffee and playing golf, loved his family and loved the Arkansas Razorbacks especially when they were playing football, He is preceded in death by his father, James A. Perry; step-father, Bob Smith; nephew, Jamie Perry; brother-in-law, Carl Buckley, Jr.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years Laura Perry of Camden, AR; mother, Laura Jean Smith of Camden, AR; son, Shannon Perry and wife, Staci of Camden, AR; brother, Mark Perry and wife, Theresa of Camden, AR; sister, Kaye Cox and husband, Jesse of Fayetteville, AR; grandson, Dylan Hicks and wife, Ashley of Camden, AR; great-grandchildren, Kimber and Brodie Hicks of Camden, AR; host of nieces and nephews.

The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to Dr. Larry Braden and the OCMC Hospice Team. They were all so caring and kind and made this hard journey bearable.

Visitation will be 1:00-2:00PM Wednesday, July 20, 2022 at Proctor Funeral Home. Memorial service will be 2:00PM Wednesday, July 20, 2022 at Proctor Funeral Home Chapel. Bro Sherman Brooks will officiate. Proctor Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
