James Wesley Erwin, 83 of Bearden, AR, departed from this life Sunday July 30, 2023.  He was born May 7, 1940, in New Edinburg, AR, to the late Noel and Opal Moseley Erwin.  Earlier years he was an avid fox hunter, square dancer, and golfer.  He was a machinist who loved when someone said can you tool this.  He acquired 7 patents for his designs. He truly loved life.

He is proceeded in death by his parents, a brother Eddie Erwin, brother-n-law Rudolph Key, sister-in-law Johnny Ruth Ethridge, mother-in-law Marjorie Vincent Russell.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Frances Beaver Erwin of Bearden, AR; daughter Lisa (Runt) Hall of Bearden, AR; son Scott (Tamie) Erwin of Sulfur Springs, TX; sister Margie Thompson; brothers William "Jabo" Erwin, Nolan Erwin, Van Erwin; sister-in-laws Gwen Erwin, Faye Tippitt, Tonya Beaver; granddaughters Tiffany (Chris) Trefry, Autumn (Britton) Diamond, Cristy Hall; grandson Dustin Hall; great grandchildren Kodi Elizabeth Trefry, Ethan Trefry, Emmett and Chase Diamond; bonus friend, cook, gardening buddy who he loved as a daughter, Angela Bieber.

Private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
