James "Bobo" Doherty, aged 64, of Bearden, AR, was born on July 23, 1962, to Franklin Eugene and Dixie Ryan Doherty. He passed away peacefully on October 28, 2026.

Known for his skills as a handyman, painter, and contractor, Bobo contributed his talents to the community and took great joy in his favorite pastime, fishing.

Bobo joins his parents, Franklin and Dixie Doherty, in Heaven, along with his brothers, Darrell and Donald Doherty; sisters, Brenda Doherty and Cathy Young; and nephew, Christopher Patton.

His legacy lives on through his sons, Michael and Jason Doherty; brother, David Doherty; and five beloved grandchildren: Skyler Hall, Chloe Doherty, Alexis Doherty, Katie Doherty, and Zachary Miller. Also cherishing his memory are nieces Lori Doherty, Kimberly and her husband Brandon Hughes; great-nephews Breydon Doherty, Jacob, Branson, and Lucas Hughes; sister-in-law Sylvia Doherty; numerous cousins, aunts, uncles, and an extended family of nieces, nephews, and his two adored dogs, Chicka and Roscow.

James "Bobo" Doherty leaves behind a circle of family and friends who will deeply miss him but celebrate the time they shared with him until they meet again. 

A graveside service will be held at Moss Hill Cemetery in Bearden, AR at 2:00 pm on Monday, November 2, 2026.
