J. W. Lindsey, 85, of Camden, AR, passed way Sunday, December 15, 2024. He was born on January 10, 1939, in Bearden, AR. He was the son of the late Leonard O. and Sadie Sanders Lindsey. He was a member of Buena Vista Methodist Church, loved hunting, fishing, golf and coached at the Camden Boys Club for many years. He worked at Hurley Press, Private Printing Company and started the Shopper's Guide.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard O. and Sadie Sanders Lindsey; son, Mike Lindsey; sister, Lucille Hendrix; brother, Lucian Lindsey.

He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Marilyn Lindsey; sons, Dr. Mickey Lindsey (Beth), Todd Lindsey (Susan), Dr. Brad Lindsey (Jennifer), J.J. Lindsey (Janda); daughters, Letitia Landers (James) and Dr. Amy DeLuca (Mark Sorrells); sister, Linnie Avant; daughter-in-law, Terri Lindsey; grandchildren, Josh Lindsey (Mallory), Candice Smith (Bobby), Jake Lindsey, Gannon Lindsey, Megan Howard (Blane), Amelia Tran (Danny), Chelsea Lindsey, Jackson Lindsey, Fallon Lindsey, Spencer Lindsey (Katie), Ian Lindsey, Allie Lindsey, Alex DeLuca, Will DeLuca, Nick DeLuca, Mason and Taylor Lindsey; 8 great-grandchildren; host of family and friends.

Visitation will be 1:00-2:00PM Wednesday, December 18, 2024, at Proctor Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 2:00PM Wednesday, December 18, 2024, at Proctor Funeral Home Chapel. The burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
