Hugh Edward Wallingsford, 79, of Camden Arkansas passed away September 2, 2024. He was born in Camden, AR on March 19, 1945, to Hugh and Elsie Clemens Wallingsford. He served in the US Army National Guard and as a Reserve of the Army until he was Honorable Discharged as a Sergeant E5 in July 1971. He worked many years at International Paper Company until retirement. He was a member of Victory Church. Upon retirement, Hugh enjoyed buying and selling used cars, hanging out at Harvey's Grocery, he was an Avid Arkansas Razorback fan, and loved spending time watching his grandsons play sports.

He was proceeded and death by his parents, his brothers, Arthur Wallingsford and Rex Wallingsford, and three sisters, Thelma, Freeman, Dorothy Perry, and Helen Jackson. He is survived by his daughter, Vicki Vaughan and husband Gary of Camden, AR, three grandchildren, Heather Harville (Mitchell) of Grenada, Mississippi. Trevor Vaughan and Houston Vaughan both of Camden, AR, two great grandchildren, Kenzie Lynn Harville, and Mack Harville and a host of family and friends.

The family would like to say a special thank you to Ouachita Nursing and Rehab, and Dr. Lewis for their Exceptional care during his final days, and Also Ouachita County Medical Center, Dr. Daniels, Dr. Jones, Dr. Henrickson, Dr. Joe Deluca and Dr. Dan Martin for all their wonderful care over the years.

Visitation will be 5:00-7:00PM Wednesday, September 4, 2024 at Proctor Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, September 5, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. in Proctor Chapel officiated by Bro. Jerry Ables and Bro. Stephen Willis. Interment in Salem Cemetery in Bearden, AR immediately following.
