On November 6, 2025, Henry D. Primm went home to his Heavenly Father, where he has no more pain, no more suffering. He fought a courageous fight against cancer for 9 years. He was born on September 11,1947 in Camden, AR to Henry W. Primm and Nomie Mooty Primm.

He was a member of Elliott Baptist Church where he accepted Christ as his Savior at the age of 16. He graduated from Fairview School and attended Red River Vo-Tech School & Oil Belt Vo-Tech School where he became certified as a welder. He was a founding member of the Elliott Volunteer Fire Dept, and served as Fire Chief for many years. Later he served as Advisor for the department.

He was a salesman for Don's Camper Fair and later was owner of Henry's RV Service. He served as a volunteer for the Ouachita County Sheriff's Office for 15 years prior to becoming the Emergency Management Director. He had the honor of being named Coordinator of the Year twice & served on the state board. He was also the fire coordinator for the county's volunteer fire departments and worked closely with the Ouachita County Rescue Department.

Henry was a people person and a dedicated worker, no matter what the job was. He loved joking with people, but when it came to his work, he was all seriousness and took delight (his heart was) in helping those in need. He had a caring, loving heart. His greatest love was for his Lord. After this, was his love for his wife, daughter, son-in-law and especially for his grandson, granddaughter & grandson-in-law.  He was a loving, caring husband, dad, and Papaw, who always praised God for the special closeness his family held for one another.

Henry was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Webster Primm & Nomie Mooty Primm. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Martha, daughter Beth Lloyd & husband Mark of Hope, granddaughter Hannah Davis and husband Landon of Hope, grandson Matthew Lloyd of Hope, brother Donnie Primm of Camden, sister Brenda Boyd and husband Rick of Mountain Home, niece Kasey Boyd of Mountain Home and niece Rhuye Primm of Bernice, La. Also a great niece, Delta Primm of Bernice, La along with many cousins and friends.

The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Dr. Bill Dedman, Dr Scott Stern and Dr Ryan Hall for their dedicated care of Henry. Also, the South AR Regional Rehab, St Vincent Hospital and Life Touch Hospice.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Elliott Baptist Church in Camden, AR or to Unity Baptist Church in Hope, AR.

Visitation will be Saturday, November 08, 2025 6:00PM to 8:00PM at Proctor Funeral Home.  Funeral service will be 2:00PM Sunday, November 09, 2025 at Elliott Baptist Church with Brother Ty Boyette officiating.  Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
