Gwendolyn Faye Marshall, 74 of Camden, AR passed away, Sunday, April 27, 2025.  She was born December 28, 1950 in Camden, AR to Charles Smith and Gloria Ferguson.  Gwen attended high school Lincoln High School, Camden AR, College: Ouachita Baptist Arkadelphia.

Gwen was an avid reader and loved to shop, she was employed at Camden Police Department for 30 plus years and she loved her job as well as the people she worked with. Gwen loved her sons, David and Anthony they were the center of her world. She never met a stranger, everyone loved Gwen.

She is survived by her sons, David Smith (Donna), Anthony Jackson (Tashara); siblings, Beverly Stockdale from Camden AR, Willie Charles Stockdale of Camden AR; 14 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Smith; her mother, Gloria Dean Stockdale; and her sister, Deborah Hawkins.

A visitation will be held Friday, May 02, 2025 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM at Proctor Funeral Home.  Funeral service will be 12:00PM Saturday, May 03, 2025 at Greater St. Paul Baptist Church with burial in West End Cemetery.
