Gwendolyn Joy Manning, 67, of Camden, AR, passed away April 14, 2022 at Baptist Medical Center, Little Rock, AR surrounded by family. She was born January 14, 1955 in Camden, AR. She was the daughter of Joseph Lee Thomas, Jr. and Margaret Vaughan Thomas. She was the wife of Jimmy Don Manning for 49 years. She is preceded in death by her father, Joseph Lee Thomas, Jr.

She is survived by her mother, Margaret Vaughan Thomas of Camden, AR; husband, Jimmy Don Manning of Camden, AR; daughter, Maranda Walker and husband, Kevin of Camden, AR; daughter, Sandra Leah Wright and husband, Tim of Camden, AR; granddaughter, Ariel Hall and husband, Austin of Camden, AR, granddaughter, Kaitlyn Wright of Camden, AR, granddaughter, Megan Wright of Camden, AR; grandson, Gunner Walker of Camden, AR; granddaughter, Katie Goodwin of Little Rock, AR; great-grandson, Levi Thompson of Camden, AR; great-granddaughter, Naomi Thompson of Camden, AR, great-granddaughter, Preslee Hall of Camden, AR; great-grandson, Kole Thompson of Bearden, AR; brother, Roger Thomas and wife, Kay of Camden, AR; sister, Judy Bryant and husband, Eddie of Louann, AR; four dogs, Izzy, Pearl, Prissy and Babygirl; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and loved ones.

Her passion was her family. She would stand up and defend her family against anyone. She loved wholeheartedly and so deeply. Those grandbabies were her world and there was nothing she would not do for them. She wanted them to know how much she loved them and not a moment went by that she didn't tell them,

Visitation will be 6:00-8:00PM Sunday, April 17, 2022 at Proctor Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 2:00PM Monday, April 18, 2022 at Proctor Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Proctor Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
