Glenda Seaton, 74, passed away on July 5, 2025. She was born on April 26, 1951, in Shreveport, LA to Richard and Merle May. Glenda worked at Louisiana Tech University from 1976-1987. From there she went to LSU Ag and Research to work from 1987-1992. Glenda became the VP of human resources in the banking industry from 1992-2004. For the last twenty years she was a wife, a homemaker, a caregiver to her husband, and grandma. Glenda also served in various nonprofit organizations. She liked to sew and do arts and crafts. She loved to travel. She loved to work with the children at her church. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Glenda was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Merle May; husband, Philip Seaton; two brothers, Richard May, Jr. and Greg May. She is survived by her two sons, Rick Hammons and his wife, Sue of Downsville, LA and David Hammons of Downsville, LA; two sisters, Becky Young and her husband, Doug of Ruston, LA and Michelle Law and her husband, Mike of Irving, TX; two stepdaughters, Sara Howard and her husband, Paul of Cabot, AR and Amy Vinson of El Dorado, AR; grandchildren, Matt Gaston and his wife, Katy, Molly Gaston, Lila Hammons, Joey Hammons, Seaton Bonar, Jackson Leach, Gavin Leach, Ryleigh Howard, Preston Jay Howard, Kannon Leach, and Katy Quarles; seven great-grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.

Visitation will be held 11:00AM -12:00PM before the service. A memorial service will be held on July 12, 2025, at 12:00PM at Fellowship Cumberland Church, 2855 Ouachita 3, Camden, AR 71701.
