Glenda Nell Cathey Andrews, 71, of Chidester, AR, passed away Friday, October 6, 2023. She was born December 28, 1951, in Camden, AR. She was the daughter of the late Curtis C. and Rosa Nell Clemons Cathey.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Benny Andrews; two brothers, Tommy and Larry Cathey.

She is survived by her son, Jon Patterson of Belleville, AR; daughter, Jacki Romero of Chidester, AR; sisters, Brenda Smith of Mayflower, AR and Amanda Purifoy of Bearden, AR; and two grandsons, Paul Michael Portillo, David Andrews both of Mexico.

Visitation will be 6:00-8:00PM Monday, October 9, 2023, at Proctor Funeral Home, Camden, AR. Graveside service will be 10:00AM Tuesday, October 10, 2023, at Tate Cemetery near Boiling Pot. Proctor Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
