Ginger Elaine Briggs, 72, passed away on November 23, 2025. She was born on February 14, 1953, to Thomas James and Ellen Asher Smith in Camden, AR. Ginger enjoyed watching Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy. She loved to travel especially taking road trips. Her greatest joy and love was spending time with her friends and family especially her grandchildren.

Ginger was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Larry Briggs; a brother, David Smith; her sister, Linda Kurtz; brother-in-law, Denny Kurtz; and a grandnephew, Andrew Steelman.

She was survived by her daughter, Christy Lindsey (Andy) of Stephens, AR; her companion, Steve Dowing; two sisters, Gail Philpott (Gary) and Marilyn Rector; stepdaughter, Kera Kunchwinsky (Michael); stepson, Jason Briggs (Tara); four grandchildren, Austin Lindsey (Mishi), Autumn Linsey; Zoe Kunchwinsky, and Orion Briggs; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of family and friends.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, at 2:00PM at Proctor Funeral Home. There will be a visitation between 1:00PM-2:00PM before the service. The interment will be held at Memorial Park Cemetery in Camden, AR.
