Geraldine Nutt, 89, passed away on February 29, 2024. She was born on January 28, 1935 to Elmer and Eula Goodner Starr in Oden, AR. Geraldine was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. She loved quilting and spending time camping at Lake Ouachita. Her favorite thing to do was to take care of people. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Billy Joe Nutt; two sons, Michael Nutt and Gerald Nutt; and four brothers, Ronald Starr, James Starr, Donald Starr, and Carlton Starr.

She is survived by her son, Bobby Nutt and his wife, Candice of Camden, AR,; two sisters, Frances Smith of Hot Springs, AR and Shirley Proffitt and her husband, Billy of Camden, AR; a brother, Jimmy Starr and his wife, Kathy of Camden, AR; daughter-in-law, Debbie Nutt of Camden, AR; grandchildren, grandsons, Mathew Nutt and his wife, Kristi of Camden, AR, and Austin Nutt and his wife, Kristen of Camden, AR; Kaley Meeks of Smackover, AR, Michael Nutt and his wife, Kelsey and Brian Nutt and his wife, Rachel; twelve great-grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2024 at 2:00PM at Calvary Baptist Church. A visitation will take place from 1:00PM-2:00PM before the service.  Interment will be at Bethel Cemetery in Bearden, AR. Proctor Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
