Once she graduated she went to work for Silver Oaks until her health took a rough turn and Gena became ill with a rare disease at her age called Frontal Temporal Dementia, from then on things weren't the same, but none the less Gena was still Gena for a while, walking around screaming to the top of her lungs "I'm gone buy me a boat and a truck to pull it." If you had the chance to meet Gena you met a true gem. She loved to hunt and fish. She was one of a kind. She had a very funny personality and didn't put up with no crap. Gena will be truly missed by all who loved her. We would like to thank Arkansas Health Center where Gena spent the last 5 years getting the best possible care from everyone there from Social Workers, Therapist, Doctors, Nurses and Aides. It showed that they loved her just as we did. Thank you all. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made at Proctor Funeral Home on her funeral account.
