Freddie Don Pharr, 82, of Chidester, AR formally of Magnolia, AR, passed away Saturday, April 6, 2024, at his home. He was born March 19, 1942, in Emerson, AR. He was the son of the late Gerald and Margaret Sweet Pharr. He was a member of Adams Chapel Missionary Baptist church, retired after 30 years from the Fred Stewart Company, graduate of Emerson High School and an Accounting Degree from Southern State, Magnolia, AR. He is preceded in death by his parents, Gerald and Margaret Sweet Pharr, several aunts, and uncles.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years Carole Pharr of Chidester, AR; daughter, Melissa Pharr of Magnolia, AR; two sons, Russell Carlton of Searcy, AR and Keith Carlton and wife, Pamela of Tacoma, WA; two grandsons, Evan Carlton of Fayetteville, AR and Nicholas Carlton of Searcy, AR; fur baby, Shadow; host of family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Greg Hodge, Canon Orr, Aaron Morton, Barry Doss, Richard Vick, Paul Whiteside, Randy Pharr, and Terry Pharr. Honorary Pallbearers will be David O'Hara, Everett Crain, Buddy Roe, James Bowman, and Billy Pharr.

Visitation will be 4:00-6:00PM Saturday, April 13, 2024, at Proctor Funeral Home. Graveside service will be 3:00PM Sunday, April 14, 2024, at Riddick Cemetery, Stephens, AR. Bro. David Johnson will officiate the service. Proctor Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
