Frances Marie Lamkin, 85, of West Monroe, Louisiana, went to be with her Lord and Savior on January 25, 2026.  Born on May 6, 1940, to William Earl and Mary Verna Smith, Frances lived a life defined by faith, family, and devotion.

Frances was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 60 years, George Raymond Lamkin; her sisters, Pat Billingsley, Mildred Holloway, and Myrble Harbour; and her brothers, Hercell, Freeman, and Bob Smith.

She is survived by a large and loving family who will miss her dearly, children, Barbara Carwile (Joe), Sharon Lamkin, Fred Lamkin (Nelia), and Ron Lamkin; 6 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; extended family; numerous nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to gather and honor her life during the following services.  Visitation will be Friday, February 6, 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Proctor Funeral Home.  Funeral service will be Saturday, February 7, 2026 at 2:00 PM at Bell Chapel Church, 267 Highway 76, Chidester, AR 71726.
