Frances Ruth Butler Arnold, 75, passed away peacefully while taking an afternoon nap on July 13, 2026. She was born on March 6, 1951, to Tilton and Thelma Butler of Camden, Arkansas. Frances was raised in a Christian home and accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Saviour early in her life. Her faith remained an important part of her life as she faithfully raised her children in Church and instilled in them the values she cherished. She especially enjoyed singing with her Mother & Sisters on special occasions, creating treasured memories through music & worship. Frances was a proud member of the Order of the Eastern Star and a prayer warrior.

Frances devoted her life to her family. She was a strong, hardworking, and faithful mother whose greatest joy was caring for those she loved. She had a servant’s heart, quietly putting the needs of others before her own and creating a home filled with love, strength, and encouragement. She especially expressed her love through cooking. Whether preparing everyday meals or gathering family around the table for special occasions, she found joy in feeding those she loved. Her kitchen was a place of comfort, laughter, and treasured memories.

Frances had a strong work ethic and spent most of her career in the Camden Aerospace Industry. She began her career soldering electronic circuit boards at Stromberg Carlson, ITT, and General Dynamics, before retiring from Lockheed Martin. Throughout her career, Frances took great pride in her work and earned the respect of her coworkers as a dedicated employee, Supervisor, and Purchasing Agent. Along the way, she formed lasting friendships with colleagues who became like family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Tilton and Thelma Butler; her brother, Raymond E. Butler; her sister, Linda Lou Butler Buster; Brothers in Law Sonny Buster and Bill Hamilton; her first husband, Mike Davis; and her husband, Tommy Arnold.

She is survived by her sister, Sue Hamilton; her in-laws Kenny & Mary Arnold, Jim & Anita Davis, Rita & Billy Spears, and Sonja Butler; her children, Jeff Davis and wife, Terri, Allison Davis, and Phillip Davis and wife, Rachel; her grandchildren, Abby Snyder and husband, Todd, Grant Davis, and Mason Scott; Finley Scott, Declan Davis and Fisher Davis; her treasured great-granddaughter, Arabelle Snyder; her stepsons, Heath Arnold and wife, Amanda, and Jason Arnold and wife, Aimee; her step-grandchildren, Jewel Ann Arnold, Ty Arnold, and Slade Arnold; along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends who will cherish her memory.

The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to the compassionate caregivers who lovingly cared for Frances during her final days. A special thank you to the Arbor Hospice team, especially Dr. Braden, nurse Traci Peterson and nurses Elana, Maddy, Sharry, Mariah, and Becky, whose kindness, expertise, and unwavering support brought comfort and peace to both Frances and her family. The family is also profoundly grateful for the exceptional care provided by her devoted in-home caregivers—Renea Moore, Debra Tyler, Brittany & Charlene Minor. Your gentle hands, compassionate hearts, and faithful service allowed Frances to remain surrounded by the love and comfort of home. Your kindness and dedication will never be forgotten.

Frances will be remembered for her quiet strength, unwavering work ethic, generous spirit, and deep love for her family. She faithfully watched over her home, cared for those around her, and demonstrated a life of diligence, sacrifice, and unconditional love. Her legacy will continue through the family she loved so dearly and the countless lives she touched with her kindness.

While her family grieves her absence, they rejoice in the assurance that she is now resting in the presence of her Lord and reunited with loved ones who have gone before her. Her love, faithfulness, and example will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

Visitation: Thursday, July 16, 2026, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Proctor Funeral Home in Camden, AR. Funeral Service: Friday, July 17, 2026, at 10:00 am at Westside Methodist Church, 2211 Maul Road in Camden, AR. A private burial will follow at Union Cemetery in Bodcaw, AR.
