Eyvonne Simone
Merritt
Oct 9, 1968 — Oct 7, 2025
Camden
Eyvonne Simone Merritt was born October 9, 1968 in Camden, Arkansas. She peacefully entered eternal rest on October 7, 2025 and is now joined with her Lord.
Eyvonne accepted Christ at an early age at Whitest Chapel Baptist Church and lived her life as a faithful servant of the Lord. She later rededicated her life at Victory Church on June 26, 2016, alongside her husband, Tim Merritt.
Eyvonne is a proud graduate of Fairview High School, class of 1988. She was a very hard worker, she held various positions from Kids Play in Spokane, WA, a Switchboard Operator at Fairchild Air Force Base, a Postal Clerk at Yokota Airforce Base in Japan, and 15 years of leadership at General Dynamics.
In addition to being a hard worker, Eyvonne is known for her unwavering love for her family. She was a devoted mother, wife, sister, and aunt.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Tim Merritt; her parents, Lacy Flannigan and Georgia Lee Flannigan.
She leaves to cherish her memory: her loving daughter Tiara Flannigan of Camden, and son Jordan Johnson of Richardson, TX; her loving siblings, Betty (Ralph) Booker of Atlanta, GA; Brenda Flannigan of Camden; Jeanette (Jerome) Hill of Little Rock, AR; Annette (Delton) Gulley of Camden; Jackie (Mechell) Flannigan of Camden; James (Tanika) Flannigan of Arkadelphia, AR.
As we remember, Eyvonne, we hold fast to the words of Psalm 144:1-2: "Blessed be the Lord my Rock, Who trains my hands for war, And my fingers for battle— My loving kindness and my fortress, My high tower and my deliverer, My shield and the One in whom I take refuge, Who subdues my people under me."
Visitation will be Thursday, October 09, 2025 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM Proctor Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 2:00PM Friday, October 10, 2025 at Victory Church with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery.
