Eugene "Lil Gene" Autry McClure, 41, passed away on April 9, 2024. Eugene was born on April 17, 1982 to Ellis and Sandra Johnson McClure in Shreveport, LA. Eugene liked to fish and deer hunt, but his passion was turkey hunting. He would go anytime he could. He loved spending time with his family and friends.

Eugene is preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Rhonda K. Thompson; and numerous aunts and uncles. He is survived by his wife, Haylei McClure; his three children, Rhonda McClure, Paiden McClure, and Billy McClure; a grandson, August Lios; a brother, Timmy Martin; special friends, Aurora Mathews, Cassie Mathews, and Lynn Ottaway; two nephews, Gage Thompson and Hunter Thompson; and a host of family and friends.

A memorial service will be held at Proctor Funeral Home at 11:00AM on Saturday, April 27, 2024. Proctor Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
