Emory A. Jeffus, born on July 15, 1945, in Camden, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on August 4, 2026. He lived a full life marked by dedication to family and the quiet strength of character for which he was so well known.
Emory was born to William A. Jeffus and Pauline Roberts Jeffus, both of whom preceded him in death. Also preceding him was his beloved wife, Deborah Jeffus.
Emory's memory is lovingly preserved by his devoted family, who were a constant source of pride and happiness for him throughout his life. His sons, Michael & Zelma Jeffus and Darryl & Corey Jeffus, carry on his legacy, each reflecting aspects of his wisdom, kindness, and sense of responsibility. Also left to cherish his memory are daughter-in-law, Tammy Boutin; adopted son, Brad Meeks; and sister, Brenda Crawley, who shared in both his childhood memories and adult years with warmth and affection.
Among Emory’s greatest joys were his grandchildren: Ashton Jeffus, James Jeffus, Robert Crawley, and Roger Crawley. He cherished every moment spent with them, taking pleasure in their accomplishments and offering gentle guidance and encouragement.
He will be remembered as a man that was full of love, guidance and honesty. A man who never gave up on delivering other souls to Christ. A man who sacrificed so much. He will be gone from sight, but not from the hearts of his family who will love and miss him always.
Emory A. Jeffus left a legacy of love and devotion that will not be forgotten.
