Emma Jean Martin

Emma Jean Martin, 94, passed away on September 9, 2026, in Camden, Arkansas.  Emma was born on March 4, 1932, to Nelson and Edna Adams in Calhoun County.  

Emma was an animal lover; she owned several dogs and gave them lots of attention.  She was known for her sewing abilities and was considered an excellent seamstress.  Emma also enjoyed beautiful flowers and crocheting.  

Emma was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charles H. Martin; and her sister, Annie Lou Benson.

She is survived by her daughters, Denise Merritt (Terry), Tina Barnett (Mitchell), and Sarah Martin; her brother Edward Adams; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Sunday, September 13, 2026, from 5:00 - 7:00 PM at Proctor Funeral Home.  There will be a graveside service on Monday, September 14, 2026, at 10:00 AM at Mt. Olive Cemetery, 256 Hwy 76, Rosston, Arkansas 71858.
