Eloise Bethea, 97, of Camden, AR, passed away at her home in Camden, AR on Thursday, September 14, 2023. She was born December 7, 1925. She was the daughter of the late J.A. and Grace Proffitt Coston. She retired from ITT and had a long career selling Avon and loved visiting with her customers. She loved being with friends and family during the holidays and birthdays, loved gardening, flowers, feeding birds and camping at Lake Gresson. She was of the Baptist Faith.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Bill Bethea they were married for 65 years; two sons, Ricky Bethea and Ron Bethea; daughter, Gail Bishop; sister, Francis Hubbard; parents, J.A. and Grace Coston.

She is survived by one daughter, Sue Mosley of Camden, AR; one son, Jerry Bethea and wife, Mary of Kirby, AR; four grandchildren, Connie Brian (Patrick Osburn)  of Mablevale, AR; Jamie LaFave (Brent Findlay) of North Little Rock, AR; Amy Bennett Oliszewski and husband, Alex of Columbus, OH and Casey Bethea of Camden, AR; one great-grandchildren, Owen Bethea of Camden, AR; two nephews, Dale Stauffer and wife, Sheila of Pine Bluff, AR and Gary Stauffer and wife, Susie of Camden, AR; one niece, Nancy Paxton of Camden, AR.

A graveside service will be 2:00PM Saturday, September 16, 2023, at Lakeside Cemetery, Camden, AR. Burial will follow in Lakeside Cemetery, Camden, AR. Proctor Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
