Edwin M. Horton, 92, of Camden, AR died Friday, May 9, 2025 in Camden. He was a member of Saint John's Episcopal Church and formerly a member of Saint Mark's Methodist Church in Camden where he served in various leadership positions. He was a graduate of Camden High School and Tulane University where he was a member of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity. After graduating from Tulane he served two years in the United States Army and then was employed by Procter and Gamble for three years before returning to Camden to become President of First National Bank.

Edwin was very active in civic affairs in Camden serving as President of the Camden Chamber of Commerce, President of the Camden Rotary Club, Chairman of the Camden Port Authority and was active in many community economic development endeavors.

Edwin was preceded in death by his wife, Yvonne Horton, a son Douglas Robertson and his parents Ed and Alice Lide Horton. He is survived by his son, Steve Robertson (Amy) of Fayetteville, AR, a sister, Alicia Mosley of Camden, a daughter-in-law, Kari Whisenhunt of Conway and a granddaughter, Johanna Robertson of Fordham University in New York City.

Graveside services will be held Friday, May 16, 2025 at 4:00PM at Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Saint John's Episcopal Church.
