Eddie Joye Wells 89, passed away on April 26, 2025. She was born on August 24, 1935, to Richard Edward and Leona Shinks Babcock in El Dorado, AR.  Eddie enjoyed gardening, painting, and doing puzzle books. She liked to fish and loved all kinds of animals. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family.

Eddie was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Edward Franks and Jamon Franks; and her husband, Bill Wells. She is survived by her granddaughter, Stormy Franks of Camden, AR; daughter-in-law, Patricia Guillot of Camden, AR; niece, Susan Webb Boudreaux; two nephews, Jody Webb and Jay Webb; extended family, Juana Dimler, Carlos Martinez, and Javier Martinez; and a host of family and friends.

A graveside service will take place at 10:00AM on Friday, May 2, 2025, at Rest Haven Cemetery in El Dorado, AR. Proctor Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
