Obituary

Earmon Frank Marks, 91 passed away on February 27, 2025. He was born on April 20, 1933, in Three Creeks, AR to Eric Edgar and Alice Lorene Langley Marks. Earmon served in the Air Force during the Korean War. He worked for the International Paper Company for over fifty Years as an instrument operator. He was also a master electrician and had a HVAC business during that time. He was a long-time member of Elliott Baptist Church in Elliott, AR. Earmon was an elk hunter and guide. He also raised and loved horses. He enjoyed helping people, especially his family and friends. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Vivian Hardin Marks; a daughter, Teresia Earline Marks; his sister, Bonnie Mae Garner; and a brother, James Carol Marks.

He is survived by his two daughters, Katrina Vercher of Lake City, FL and Shelly Burgess and her husband, Ronnie of Magnolia, AR; his brother, Bobby Marks and his wife, Doris of Springdale, AR; four grandchildren, Nicholas Vercher and his wife, Teri, Heather Caldwell and her husband, John, Chad Vercher, and David Burgess; eight great-grandchildren, Travien Sears, Johnthan Tyler Vercher, Arianna Caldwell, Mariah Caldwell, Adyson Vercher, Austin Vercher, Tenlee Vercher, and Londyn Caldwell; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of family and friends.

The family has asked in lieu of flowers please make memorials to the Elliott Baptist Church at 4189 AR-376, Camden, AR 71701. The family said this what Earmon would have wanted.

The family has set a time to gather and share memories on Saturday, March 8, 2025, in the fellowship hall, from 2:00PM-4:00PM at Elliott Baptist Church in Elliott, AR.
