Dwaine Thomasson, 81, of Sherwood, AR, passed away Friday, March 1, 2024, in North Little Rock, AR. He was born March 25, 1941, in Texarkana, TX. He was the son of the late W. N. Buck and Doris Pearl Bunch Thomasson. He was a member and Deacon of Runyan Baptist Church, Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, avid hunter, outdoor lover, faithful husband, father, grandfather and a 40-year commercial roofing contractor.

Dwaine is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Carl Thomasson; two brothers-in-law, Ray Barron, and Don Savacool.

Dwaine is survived by his wife, Jimmie Scogin Thomasson of Sherwood, AR; son, Todd Thomasson and wife, Kay of Jacksonville, AR; daughter, Tiffani Neal and husband, Jeff of Texarkana, TX; two sisters, Janice Bastress and husband, Bill of Jacksonville, AR and Anita Savacool of Redding, CA; six grandchildren, Michael Thomasson, Kenneth Thomasson, Mindy Thomasson, Tori Neal, Caleb Neal and Donny Le; three great-grandchildren; host of family and friends.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Runyan Baptist Church 10611 Jacksonville Cato Road, Sherwood, AR 72120.

Visitation will be 1:00-2:00PM Wednesday, March 6, 2024, at Proctor Funeral Home. The funeral service will be 2:00PM Wednesday, March 6, 2024, at Proctor Funeral Home Chapel. A burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Bro. Scott Hinton will officiate the service. Proctor Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
